About the car

At Nine Excellence we get to see a lot of amazing Porsche cars, but every now and again a car comes in that just takes your breath away. The sheer beauty of a 993 C2S is to behold and when combined with Vesuvio Edition this makes for a truly stunning car.

The Vesuvio Edition incorporated

- Vesuvio Metallic Paint code - L40X (which is purple/grey depending on light)

- Door Mirrors and handles in Steel Grey

- Carrera S Script and rear split spoiler in Steel Grey

- Two tone grey Cup 2 Alloys

Whilst there are no official numbers of how many 993 C2S Vesuvio Edition were made, our research shows that there may be only as few as 100 Vesuvio Edition cars worldwide either Manual or Tiptronic. 

With the 993 being the last of the air cooled cars, together with the C2S wide bodied and with the Vesuvio Edition makes this a very desirable car. 

Mechanicals

The last owner purchased the car from Porsche Swindon. It is not often that Porsche centres sell 993 models, but in this case Porsche themselves overhauled the car including all new suspension (dampers, mounts, control arms, ARBs, Droplinks), braking system (brake lines, calipers, discs & pads) exhaust system and heatshields. The list of parts replaced covers 5 pages from Porsche and includes numerous other parts replaced as part of their restore. We recently have fitted new alternator and geometry set up on the car. 

Wheels and Tyres

The wheels have been refurbed/painted and shod with MSP (N3) tyres less than 2 years ago

Interior

The black leather interior has been kept in great condition and defies the age of the car. Nothing is broken in the car.  

Paintwork

The paintwork was overhauled by Porsche Swindon through their own Porsche Approved Body Shop. Using a paint depth gauge the paint is consistent throughout the car panels and all the panels are original. We can find no indication of any rust on the bodywork or chassis. The paint is of exceptional quality and the car was coated with Gtechniq afterwards to protect it.

Preparation and Warranty.

As part of the preparation of the car we have undertaken full inspection of the car. Every Porsche that we offer for sale has been fully inspected by us and only goes into our showroom once we are happy with the quality both mechanically and cosmetically. The car will come with a new MOT and service.
